Kaitlin is originally from Treaty 8 Territory and moved to Edmonton to pursue her post-secondary education. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Combined Chinese and Japanese from the University of Alberta and studied abroad in Harbin, China, during her degree. After graduating, she earned her Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) certification and taught in Changsha, China, before returning to Edmonton to begin her career as a legal assistant at DUKE & COMPANY.

Driven by a strong interest in immigration law, Kaitlin takes pride in supporting clients through complex processes and helping them leave the office feeling hopeful and confident.

Outside of her professional life, Kaitlin is an avid traveler who has explored countries across Asia, Europe, and South America, with many more on her list. When she’s not exploring the world, she enjoys discovering new restaurants, attending summer powwows, spending time with family and friends, reading the latest romance novel, and binge-watching her favourite shows.
